Unit prices quoted are 2020 Incoterms® Ex-Works Ronchi dei Legionari (Italy). The prices don’t include government-imposed taxes, that shall be added to the quoted price. Prices are subjected to change without notice.

THE ORDERING PROCESS

Customers initiate the process by selecting the preferred item(s) on our website www. porteitaliashowroom.com and proceeding with the full payment at checkout. Following Porte Italia Interiors’ receipt of an order we send an acknowledgement. This details the order specifications and enumerates particulars applicable to that order, such as delivery time. Customer should examine the Proforma Invoice and then sign and return the copy to Porte Italia Interiors.

The payment of the price calculated at checkout, including any freight charges, is due prior to shipment of the order. All quoted completion and delivery dates are estimates only.

PRODUCTION TIME

On the following website www.porteitaliashowroom.com Porte Italia Interiors showcases a variety of showroom sample items, immediately available for shipping. These items are all made from scratch and hand-painted with our standard care and attention for details and have been used for display purposes in our showrooms, therefore are considered ready-made pieces and available for a discounted showroom price. Slight signs of wear and use may occur on the piece.

Following Porte Italia Interiors’ receipt of an order, the items will be picked up from our showrooms and packed in cardboard boxes or wooden crates, following Porte Italia Interiors’ best judgement for a safe shipping. This step could require up to 10 working days time. Once the item is packed, our team will be ready to organize the shipping, if required to do so.

In alternative, the customer can organize the pick up following Porte Italia Interiors indication for the best address that could either be the Venice showroom address in Campo Santo Stefano 2950, Venice, Italy or the studio address in Via Bugatto 2, 34077 Ronchi dei Legionari (GO) Italy.

SAMPLES OF COLOR AND DÉCORATION

We are able to offer a painted and decorated wood sample. Since our artists do this on request, it can add at least 2 extra weeks to the overall cycle. We offer samples only in conjunction with firm orders and at an extra fee.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations are allowed up to 24 hours after placing the order. Please contact our team at info@porteitalia.com to cancel your order by providing your order number and request for cancellation. All sales are final after this cancellation window.

INACCURACIES

Porte Italia Interiors has made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of its products that appear on the website. However, due to monitor discrepancies, Porte Italia Interiors cannot guarantee that your display of color will be accurate. Due to the fact that Porte Italia Interiors finished are applied by hand, there can be a slight variation in color, tone and character.

In the event a Porte Italia Interiors item is listed at an incorrect price due to photographical error or typographical error, Porte Italia Interiors shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Porte Italia Interiors shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Porte Italia Interiors shall issue a credit to your bank account in the amount of the incorrect price.

SHIPPING

The payment of the price calculated at checkout must be received by Porte Italia Interiors before shipping. Porte Italia Interiors prepares items for shipping with cardboard boxing or wooden crates if deemed necessary for a safe shipping, in Porte Italia Interiors’ best judgement. We strongly suggest double-checking the boxed items upon receipt, unpacking and inspecting them. In order to guarantee the high quality of Porte Italia Interiors’ products, as agreed by the International Transport Convention, we suggest you to sign and date always the delivery documents and indicate near signature the following line: “Accepted with reserve of the state of goods.”

INSPECTION OF THE MERCHANDISE

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the presence of a qualified individual to inspect the order carefully as soon as possible and notify Porte Italia Interiors if there are any problems, other than damage, within 2 working days of delivery of the order.

IN CASE OF SHIPPING DAMAGE

Any evidence of the possibility of damage (including external damage to the shipping cardboard box or wooden crate) must be clearly indicated on the receiving papers at the time of delivery, in case there is concealed damage.

In the event of concealed damage, a written claim must be submitted to Porte Italia Interiors within 2 days after delivery of the shipment. Photographic documentation should be provided if possible.

All merchandise must be retained in the original shipping container at the place of delivery for a period of 10 days after Porte Italia Interiors has received written notice of the damage, to allow the shipping company to perform an inspection.

WARRANTY

Porte Italia Interiors warrants all merchandise against defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of receipt by the customer or receiving warehouse, whichever is sooner.

The warranty does not apply to damage or breakage resulting from misuse, accidents, abuse, neglect, mishandling, or wear resulting from normal use.

If the merchandise is determined by Porte Italia Interiors to be defective, the item will be replaced within the normal production lead time required to manufacture the same product.
